COME, ALL YOU WHO ARE THIRSTY : Isaiah 55

Dr. Bob Dean
John records that on the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles, Jesus said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.” (John 7:37) In Isaiah 55, God said through the prophet, “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy, and eat!” (Isaiah 55:1) As we think about the wonderful truths about our Savior from Isaiah, how do we respond to this glorious invitation of Jesus to come to Him?

BINDING UP THE BROKENHEARTED : Isaiah 61

Sunday Aug 05, 2018
Dr. Bob Dean
When Jesus returned to his hometown of Nazareth, He went to the synagogue. They asked him to read the scripture. He read from Isaiah 61 and then declared, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in our hearing.” (Luke 4:21) Jesus clearly claimed to be the Messiah promised in Isaiah 61 who will not only preach “good news” and “freedom” but will also “bind up the brokenhearted.”
